Summer Camp in China 2024

This year’s summercamp is already full.

Do you love adventure? Meeting new people? And at the same time, getting to know a unique language and culture? Then we have the perfect summer getaway for you.

Next summer in 2024, our summer camp is starting again! It’s a unique opportunity to get acquainted with China. Travel and learn more about the Chinese language, culture, and meet the people. Study at our partner university in Dalian and visit Beijing and Chengdu with us. Immerse yourself in Chinese life, language, and culture for 2 weeks. Along the way, make new friends, visit famous landmarks and international organizations, and don’t forget to enjoy the delicious food!

Planning & Organization

The summer camp will take place August 17th till August 31th 2024. All educational programs are conducted by experienced teachers and professors.  You will receive immediate updates through our newsletter.

Visa

From December 1st 2023 till november 30th 2024, Dutch passport holders do not need a visa to travel to China. As long as the stay is not longer than 15 days. The Summer camp will be 2 weeks (14 days) so this years summer camp is very special and accessible for all Dutch passport holders. If you are planning to stay longer in China after the Summer camp, please apply for a visa since that will be longer than 15 days!

Costs

CIM students and alumni The summer camp program is free of charge* for CIM students and CIM alumni. You can apply directly to us for the CIM Summer Camp scholarship. The scholarship covers the educational program, accommodation, and travel program in Beijing, Dalian, or Chengdu. *International flights and needed visas need to be covered by yourself.

External students External students can apply for CIM Summer Camp for a duration of one to three weeks in Beijing, Dalian and Chengdu. The costs associated with the program vary from approximately 400-500 euros per week. These costs cover the hotel, domestic transportation, educational programs, travel programs, and visits to international organizations*. *International flights and needed visas need to be covered by yourself.

Important to know

• Unfortunately, students who attended our summer camp 2023 cannot participate the summer camp for 2024. This measure ensures that everyone has a chance to go to China with us!
• you have atleast an official HSK exam certificate of HSK 2 or higher.
• You are between 18-30 years old
