Cancellations, postpone & Refund Policy 

Course Terms and Conditions

By completing your registration and making full payment, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1.1. A €20 administration fee will apply to any course cancelled after registration (non-refundable). The remaining balance will be refunded if you request the cancellation at least 5 working days before the course start date.

1.2. To cancel, you must provide proof of payment. Without this, the course fee will not be refunded. Cancellations are only processed from Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please send your cancellation request to info@confuciusmaastricht.nl.

1.3. No refunds will be given for cancellation requests made less than 5 working days before the course start date.

1.4. Confucius Institute Maastricht reserves the right to cancel a course if the minimum number of participants is not met or if unforeseen circumstances arise that compromise a safe training environment. In the event of cancellation, we will either offer an alternative course date or provide a full refund.

Course Postponement

If you need to postpone your course, please submit your request at least 5 working days before the course start date. Postponement requests made less than 5 working days before the start date will not be accepted.

Refund Procedure 

Any refund will take take up to 30 days to process.

Workshop Cancellation Policy

By completing your registration and making full payment for a workshop, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1.1. You have the right to cancel your workshop booking. Cancellations must be requested at least 2 working days before the workshop start date. The workshop fee will be fully refunded.

1.2. To cancel, you must provide proof of payment. Without this, the workshop fee will not be refunded. Cancellations are only processed Monday to Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Send your cancellation request via email to info@confuciusmaastricht.nl.

1.3. If your cancellation request is made less than 2 working days before the workshop starts, no refund will be issued.

1.4. Confucius Institute Maastricht reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum number of participants is not met or if unforeseen circumstances arise that prevent a safe training environment. In such cases, participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

Book Return Policy

Return conditions
When purchasing products, the consumer has the option to dissolve the agreement without stating reasons for 14 days. This reflection period starts on the day after receipt of the product by the consumer or a representative designated by the consumer in advance and made known to the entrepreneur. During the cooling-off period, the consumer will handle the product and the packaging with care.

Returning course books
If the consumer wishes to make use of his right of withdrawal, he is obliged to make this known to the entrepreneur within 14 days of receipt of the product. The consumer can make this known via the contact form. After the consumer has indicated that he wishes to make use of his right of withdrawal, the customer must return the product within 14 days. The consumer must prove that the delivered goods have been returned on time, for example by means of proof of shipment. If the customer has not indicated that he wishes to make use of his right of withdrawal or. has not returned the product to the entrepreneur, the purchase is a fact.

Return conditions

Still not satisfied with the product? You have the option to return the product within 14 days of receipt. To do this, follow the steps below.

Packaging

  • Pack the products in their original condition and packaging in a box.
  • Place the completed return form in the box.

Shipment

  • Deliver the package to the post office.
  • Keep the proof of shipment safe.

Refund

When do we pay back?

We will transfer the purchase costs incurred by you within 14 days of cancellation.

What do we pay back?

You will receive the purchase amount back.

Where do I receive the refunded amount?

We will refund the amount in the same way as you paid. If this is not possible, we will contact you.

Costs for returning

The return shipment costs must be paid by you. Are you returning a product because it was damaged or delivered incorrectly? Then we will reimburse these costs afterward.

Return

Make sure that:

  • The articles are complete.
  • The items are in the original, undamaged packaging.
  • The copy invoice and return form are attached.

Tips

We try to process your return as quickly as possible. Here are some useful tips:

  • Make sure you pack the items well so they are not damaged during transport.
  • To save on waste, you can use the box in which we sent the product to you.
  • Make sure the address label is legible.

Shipping

Take the package to a post office of your choice. You will receive a shipping receipt. Keep it safe until the return has been fully processed. This is your proof that the package was sent and may be requested in case of loss during transport.

Handling

You will be notified automatically as soon as the return has been processed. We try to do this as quickly as possible. Have you not heard from us after 14 days? Please contact our customer service.
