It’s time for the 18th Chinese Bridge for Secondary School Students– Dutch Finals!
If you’re a high school student in the Netherlands who’s been learning Chinese (even just a little), this is your moment to show what you’ve got. The global Chinese Bridge Competition isn’t just about speaking Mandarin—it’s about confidence, culture, and connecting with people just like you from all over the world.
You’ll get the chance to:
- Show off your Chinese language skills
- Meet other students that have the same interests as you
- Share your story and maybe even inspire others
- Take one step closer to cool opportunities for your future

Requirements
- You are a secondary school student in the Netherlands, aged between 12 and 18 years old.
- Competitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Competitors aged 18 do not require a guardian.
- You must hold the nationality of the region you represent—in this case, the Netherlands.
- You did not grow up in a Chinese-speaking environment, and Mandarin Chinese is not your native language.
- You have a basic understanding of the Chinese language.
What to expect from the Speech Competition?
- Students are asked to prepare a speech of 3 minutes, around the topic of “Fly High With Chinese 追梦中文,不负韶华“.
