Are you a young musician or part of a youth music ensemble? This is your chance to perform on an international stage!
We are delighted to announce that the 2026 Chengdu Sister Cities Youth Music Festival will take place in
Chengdu, China, from 24 August to 1 September 2026. This inspiring week-long festival will bring
together talented young musicians from sister cities around the world for performances, workshops, and cultural exchange.

- A festive opening ceremony
- Sub‑venue performances across the city
- Cultural visits and activities in Chengdu
Who Can Participate?
We welcome:
- Youth music groups (up to six members)
- Individual musicians who are eager to form a group
All music styles are welcome—whether you sing, play an instrument, or both.
Expenses Covered
From 24 August to 1 September 2026, the Chengdu Municipality will cover:
- Accommodation
- Local transportation
- Meals
- Visit and activity expenses
