Course Introduction

This course is designed for learners with proficiency equivalent to HSK Level 4 or Advanced 1 who want to take their spoken Chinese to the next level. It focuses on developing more complex and nuanced communication skills for a broader range of social and professional contexts. Topics include cultural discussions, workplace communication, current events, and expressing personal opinions.

As an online speaking course, Speaking B Online Chinese Course offers students a more flexible and convenient way to learn. Through live online classes, students can interact with the teacher and classmates in real time while saving travel time and studying in a comfortable environment. The course remains highly practice-oriented, using dialogues, topic-based discussions, role-plays, and immediate feedback to help students improve the fluency, accuracy, and confidence of their spoken Chinese. 

Course Objectives

• Master communication skills – Engage in simple conversations in daily scenarios like shopping, ordering food, and asking for directions.
• Improve pronunciation and intonation – Strengthen listening and speaking through imitation and pronunciation correction exercises. 
• Understand and use common sentence patterns – Learn to introduce yourself, describe objects, and express preferences using basic sentence structures.
• Build confidence in speaking – Participate actively in role-plays and group activities to overcome speaking barriers.
• Apply classroom learning to HSKK preparation – Practise using the language learned in class more fluently and confidently, providing practical support for the HSKK中级 spoken Chinese test.

Study duration

15 lessons of 1 hour each. In addition, 45 hours of self-study are recommended.
