The Beginner 1 Online Chinese Course offers complete beginners a flexible and interactive way to start learning Chinese. With live online classes, students can learn from anywhere, save travel time, and study in a comfortable environment.

The course is interactive and practice-oriented, combining teacher-led instruction, pronunciation training, dialogue practice, mini communication tasks, and classroom interaction. Students actively engage with the teacher and classmates and receive personalized feedback, gradually building accuracy, fluency, and confidence from the very beginning.

New standard

This course is designed for complete beginners or learners with very limited previous knowledge of Chinese. It is closely aligned with the HSK 3.0 Level 1 syllabus and uses the NEW HSK 1 Chinese Course as the main textbook.

The book features 15 lessons covering 40 language points, including core grammar. It is benchmarked against the 300 core vocabulary items of HSK 3.0 Level 1, with appropriate extensions, and carefully selects high-frequency words for everyday communication, helping learners build a solid foundation in Chinese.

New Content

The course adopts a light situational mini-drama format, featuring both Chinese and international characters in authentic overseas campus settings and real-life scenes in China.

Through coherent storylines and well-developed characters, learners acquire Chinese in immersive contexts and gradually develop basic listening, speaking, reading, and practical communication skills.

Each lesson follows a clear modular structure: Objectives – Warm-up – Text – Mini Language Workshop – Xiaoyu’s Easter Eggs – Learning Summary.

This design supports both teacher-guided classroom learning and flexible self-paced review after class.
