What can you expect from HSK 4上册 (hànyǔ shuǐpíng kǎoshì sì shàngcè)?

• During HSK 1, 2 and 3 you will work on forming a good foundation. HSK 4上册 is a deepening of the Chinese language. More new vocabulary and grammar are discussed in each chapter. The focus shifts to reading Chinese characters and speaking about topics covered in the book.

• During HSK 4上册, your vocabulary and grammar will be expanded and you will be able to have more and more fluent conversations in Chinese.

• Practice with fellow students in an interactive learning environment

• Get personal feedback from our experienced teachers

• Prepares you for the HSK 4 exam

Study duration
HSK 4上册 consists of 20 lessons of 2 hours per semester. In addition, self-study of 60 hours is recommended. This course is intended for students who have completed HSK 3 and already have a very good knowledge of the Chinese language. The course covers all aspects of the Chinese language, such as listening, reading, speaking and writing skills.

In addition, the students will have access to our online learning platform where the teacher will make both the teaching material and additional study materials available.

Instruction language
This course is taught by one of our experienced teachers. Depending on the group composition, the course is given in Chinese/Dutch or Chinese/English.

Study materials
The study materials for the HSK 4上册 course are included in the course price.

Important information
For each course we require a minimum number of 5 and a maximum number of 15 students. If a course cannot start, we will inform you in good time and you will receive the course fee back.

HSK exam
When you have completed both HSK 4上册 and HSK 4下册 courses after 4 semesters, you can register for the HSK 4 exam. For more information about HSK exams, click here.
