你好! Welcome to the HSK Standard Course Level 4A (上册).
What can you expect from HSK 4A (Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kǎoshì Sì Shàngcè)?
In HSK Levels 1, 2, and 3, you build a solid foundation. HSK 4 is a deepening of your Chinese language skills. Each chapter introduces more new vocabulary and grammar. The focus shifts toward reading Chinese characters and discussing topics covered in the textbook.
In HSK 4A, your vocabulary and grammar will be expanded, and you will be able to hold more fluent and complex conversations in Chinese.

Study Duration
HSK 4A consists of 20 lessons of 2 hours per semester. Additionally, 60 hours of self-study are recommended.
This course is intended for students who have completed HSK 3 and already have a strong command of the Chinese language.
All aspects of the language are covered: listening, reading, speaking, and writing.

Language of Instruction
This course is taught by one of our experienced teachers. Depending on the group composition, the course will be conducted in Chinese/Dutch or Chinese/English.
Study Materials
The study materials for the HSK 4A course are included in the course fee.
Important Information
Each course requires a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 participants. If a course cannot start, we will inform you in time and refund your course fee.
HSK Exam
After completing both HSK 4A (上册) and HSK 4B (下册) over two semesters, you can register for the HSK 4 exam.

Important Update for HSK Exam Candidates!
Starting January 2025, according to the latest guidelines from the Chinese Proficiency Test Center (Chinese Testing International), all candidates for HSK Levels 3 through 6 must also take the HSKK (spoken Chinese) test. The HSKK score will automatically be included in the overall HSK result.
