Thank you all for joining our celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival! On September 7th, the Confucius Institute team hosted the celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节）in the garden of Zuyd.
While enjoying delicious mooncakes, spring rolls, and other snacks, CIM’s team introduced the festival and its customs through a presentation, so the participants could learn more about the history and celebration.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival quiz, knowledge was tested and teams were competing for the best score. In the creative corner, participants were able to make their very own rabbit paper cutting and tie a Chinese knot for fortune. Even though the game pitch-pot was considered quite difficult by most, some participants were natural at the game and managed to get a lot of arrows in the pot.
Hope to see you at our next event!
