What can you expect from HSK 3B (hànyǔ shuǐpíng kǎoshì sān B)?
- HSK 3B continues to build a solid foundation in the Chinese language. The focus shifts to reading Chinese characters and discussing the topics covered in the book.
- During HSK 3, your vocabulary and grammar will be expanded, and you will be able to have more conversations in Chinese.

Study duration
20 lessons of 2 hours. In addition, 60 hours of self-study is recommended. This course is intended for students who have completed HSK 3A or already have a very good basic knowledge of the Chinese language. The course covers all aspects of the Chinese language, such as listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills.

Instruction language

Important information
For each course, we maintain a minimum number of 5 and a maximum number of 15 students. If a course cannot start, we will inform you in good time and you will receive a refund of the course fee.
HSK exam
When you have completed the HSK 3B course after 1 semester, you can register for the HSK 3 exam. For more information about HSK exams, click here.
Important Update for HSK Exam Candidates!
Starting January 2025, in accordance with the latest guidelines from the Chinese Proficiency Test Center (Chinese Testing International), all candidates taking HSK Levels 3 to 6 must also take the HSKK (spoken Chinese) test. The HSKK score will be automatically included in the overall HSK results.
