What can you expect from HSK 5下册 (hànyǔ shuǐpíng kǎoshì wǔ xià cè)?

• For the advanced student. The focus is on reading comprehension and conversation in Chinese based on topics covered in the book. You will learn a lot of new vocabulary (书面语) and grammar.

• During HSK 5下册, your vocabulary and grammar will be expanded and you will be able to have more and more fluent conversations in Chinese.

• Practice with fellow students in an interactive learning environment

• Get personal feedback from our experienced teachers

• Prepare for the HSK 5 exam

Study duration
HSK 5下册 consists of 20 lessons of 2 hours per semester. In addition, self-study of 60 hours is recommended. This course is intended for students who have completed HSK 5A or who already have a very good knowledge of the Chinese language. The course covers all aspects of the Chinese language, such as listening, reading, speaking and writing skills.

Instruction language
This course is taught by one of our experienced teachers. Depending on the group composition, the course is given in Chinese/Dutch or Chinese/English.

Study materials
The study materials for the HSK 5下册 course are included in the course price.

Important information
For each course we require a minimum number of 5 and a maximum number of 15 students. If a course cannot start, we will inform you in good time and you will receive the course fee back.

HSK exam
When you have completed the HSK 5下册 course after 2 study semesters, you can register for the HSK 5 exam. For more information about HSK exams, click here.

Important Update for HSK Exam Candidates!

Starting January 2025, in accordance with the latest guidelines from the Chinese Proficiency Test Center (Chinese Testing International), all candidates taking HSK Levels 3 to 6 must also take the HSKK (spoken Chinese) test. The HSKK score will be automatically included in the overall HSK results.
