Description
This online pre‑departure training is intended for Confucius Institute Liège students who are preparing to take part in the 2026 CIM China Summer Camp. The training aims to support participants by offering practical language preparation, cultural insights, and guidance for travelling in China.
Through three interactive sessions, participants will learn essential Chinese expressions, gain useful travel tips, and explore key Chinese cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Dalian. The training also provides an overview of the summer camp programme and general arrangements to help students feel more confident ahead of departure.

- Basic and practical Chinese expressions for daily life and travel
- Cultural insights into Chinese society and customs
- Introduction to Beijing, Shanghai, and Dalian
- Practical travel tips, including transportation, food, etiquette, and daily life
- Overview of the summer camp schedule, activities, and important notes

Important Information
- This pre‑departure training is intended for students from Confucius Institute Liège.
- Students who are officially selected to participate in the 2026 CIM China Summer Camp through Confucius Institute Liège are required to take part in this training as part of their preparation.
- Registering for or attending this training does not count as an application for the CIM China Summer Camp and does not automatically lead to participation.
- Participation in the Summer Camp follows separate rules and selection criteria, which apply regardless of this training.
