23 Dec Chinese Culture Day for YCT Classes
A Fun Saturday at CIM
Three classes of YCT students enjoyed an interesting Saturday at CIM. For three hours, kids were immersed in the wonderful world of Chinese knotting and paper-cutting. Christmas cards decorated with paper-cut Jingle bells and ornamented by Chinese lucky knots were taken home as gifts to their families and friends. Paper-cutting and Chinese knotting presented YCT classes an in-depth experience of Chinese folk art. Kids learned the basic method of Chinese knotting and that it is a symbol of longevity, happiness and best wishes in Chinese culture. Now kids are expecting more fun on the next Chinese Culture Day. So let’s look forward to the next one in April 2022.
